Pros

The rewarding opportunities and appreciation given to advisors from the management team and from the company is excellent. Very competitive company in terms of benefiting producers who chose to work intelligently. Effort and sincere commitment is awarded extremely well. Unlimited income opportunities with benefits that are distinctive and go beyond expectations. Advice/support is always available from senior advisors and the whole management team to help the advisor grow his or her practice. After generating results and building the right network through persistency, the benefits are increase in the long-run as well. The compensation system for consistent effort is outstanding. I've seen advisors who have performed above average within the first year move into management quickly. Performance is rewarded early in the career.

Cons

It is all about putting in the effort and consistently working to produce results. Just like in any other business, there is a high probability of a loss in income if the business owner chooses not to work during the initial stages and without having a strong network or centre of influence to generate new business.

Pros

Canadian company with overall good life balance

Cons

Terrible compensation package Extreme amount of changes from direct and upper management Lack of promotion and professional growth. Undergraduates have a better chance to advance their careers faster than those with real world experience. Morale is extremely low - even the cafeteria used to be great

Pros

Non-management employees are usually great hardworking people. The customers are often nicer than the company deserves.

Cons

Embarrassing to have been associated with this company, it's management culture is that disgusting brew you get when you combine gross incompetence with a heavy dose of tyranny
