Pros

Work anytime, anywhere, unlimited hours

Cons

Horrible pay expected to do 37 tasks/hour and get paid .32 cents per task so that's only $11.84 and that's only if you can do 37 tasks/hour. My very first hour and I'm tech savvy, I did 12 tasks! I got much faster but still not making a lot.

You have to enjoy unpaid labor

Pros

Work is fully flexible. I can sign in and work literally whenever and for however long I want. The work is somewhat interesting. Time goes fast when tasks are plentiful. Fully remote You'll never have a boss hovering over you, no annoying coworkers, no customers. just put in your headphones and type away. Pay is ok for the type of work but it could be higher.

Cons

A whole ton of unpaid labor. Seriously. The hiring exam is just a cover for you to train yourself so they don't have to pay out. This makes no sense, as after onboarding, you'll receive maybe a couple hours of paid training each week for the first month. While I appreciate that this affords me some flexibility to train on my own time outside of my full time job, this is not a good initial first impression. Tasks are sometimes not available when you want to work. YMMV on this one but if you have weird availability, this could be an issue. Time spent waiting for tasks (aka refreshing the browser every few seconds) is also unpaid. In other words, you're going to be doing a lot of unpaid work finding stuff out on your own, training yourself, reviewing company documents for answers on payroll, sending emails to quality or HR etc. Telus as a whole is operating in a gray legal zone with its US raters in terms of pay.

Pros

Paid Holidays , Okay Benefits, Full time Hours, This position is currently remote - but there was talk about returning to site.

Cons

Management is undertrained / Over staffed and love to play favorites. The put systems into place that moderators can never pass to succeed. Testing systems are always incorrect and not up to date with the newest guidelines for the client so Experience Analysts are having issues passing these tests because the answers are outdated, management does not fight for it's employees. Several weeks Experience Analysts were required to cover tasks because the assigned agent hadn't completed them and management would be unaware. Upper management lacks communication with the floor - Strung employee's along for weeks (and still currently stringing them along) stating there will be other campaigns to transfer to with the current campaign downsizing - Ended up laid off with no option to switch to another campaign. Good luck trying to use your PTO if you are in a normal position in the company (not salary) most times Time off request are left pending for weeks on end. Due to the lack of updating of materials - getting a higher paid position within the company is difficult as you cannot pass the assessments and tests due to outdated information. Training doesn't train you for what is actually needed to succeed in the company.
