Pros
Base pay is very reasonable, commision is really where the money is. Benefits are amazing as well, they match your 401K.
Cons
There are so many cons with this position I don't even know where to start. - Imagine your head is constantly under water with the amount of responsibilities they expect an Account Manager to do. - The company has a bad reputation at the moment so finding new business is extremely difficult. - The sales goals are extremely unrealistic. - Sales Managers are useless. - Training is staring at a lap top and bothering coworkers to take you out in the feild. The longer the Account Manager has been there it is unlikely they will even look in your direction due to the high turnover rate. - When sales has done their part it becomes the operations team responsibility to communicate with customers. That doesn't happen 50% of the time so then those customers come back to you angry and then you have to go to the operations team and get them to drop what they're doing to provide basic customer service. Now imagine this happening 50 times a day. - Public humiliation is one of their favorite tactics. The team meetings have the entire operations, sales, and upper management teams sat in one medium big room. I have been called out more times than I can count and gotten a talking too in front of everyone, not my favorite TKE moment.
