Pros

I worked in the Accounts Receivable Department (Collections). I can honestly say it was a pretty Solid Department. If your coming from an Entry Level position wanting to gain experience in the Finance world. You will learn a lot here. You work hand in hand with Account Managers, Branch Managers, and Billers. You have monthly conference calls that you lead discussing accounts you are collecting on. When you succeed, you feel valued. You learn to organize yourself with the large amount of accounts you will be handling, if you desire to polish that skill up, you are at the right place. Overall, you will feel important. Office environment is quiet but doesn't mean you can't have fun and talk with those around you. You manage your own time to work, and they expect for you do that well. No micro managing from my point of view, had nothing but success on my team, although others may differ in opinion. My supervisor was great and let me work at my own pace.

Cons

*Office may be too quiet for some. *If you don't manage your Sick hours and PTO very well, they will call you in and remind you that you have to make those last for they rest of the year. (2 weeks PTO and 1 week sick for the whole year with paid holidays and 3 floating holidays.) *They don't like you to show up one minute late. Must be clocked in before or on time. Expect a warning if you show up a minute late on a few occasions.

Pros

Some of the best people I have ever worked with!

Cons

Too much focus increasing profit margins, often at the expense of long term customers. More focus needs to be paid toward customer retention, as opposed to constant growth. In some areas, growth is rapid and aggressive without increasing the level of technicians, rendering it virtually impossible to meet contractual requirements thus alienating existing customers.
