Good pay no commute

Pros

Local base so no commute, range of Ling Haul and Short Haul. Full time around 72 days holiday per annum. £2500 to spend on a holiday each year. Dependent on length of service.

Cons

Company is imbedded in ageism. Any promotion is given in length of service so that only older people are accepted. So career progression is non existent. Practical Training Facilities haven’t been updated since the 90’s old Airbus aircraft with Airtours seats. No Dreamliner Mock up cabin. Which is really bizzare.

Thank you for sharing your feedback and for your continued contribution over more than 10 years with TUI. We’re really pleased to hear that you value the local base, variety of long and short haul flying, holiday allowance and travel benefits. Providing competitive benefits and flexible base options is an important part of supporting our Cabin Crew community. We also take your concerns seriously. We are committed to providing equal opportunities for progression based on skills, performance and potential. Feedback regarding perceptions of fairness in promotion processes is important and helps us review how clearly and consistently we communicate criteria and development pathways. Your comments regarding training facilities are also noted. Ensuring our training environments effectively support operational excellence and colleague development is a priority, and investment decisions are continually reviewed across the business. Pros

Meet some nice people Training

Cons

Hours aren't always great (10hour days were not mentioned in interview process) Teams seem to look out for each other and newbies don't always get the same treatment. Time Management is very intense/like you're being watched non-stop After training you are thrown into the deep end with support, but support can be delayed and when you're on a time limit, not always ideal. Customers can be very rude, even when you're trying to help resolve their issue.

Thank you for taking the time to share your honest feedback following your time with us in Customer Service. We’re pleased to hear that you met some great colleagues and found value in the training provided. We also appreciate your candid comments regarding shift patterns, onboarding support and the intensity of live environments. Customer Service roles can be fast-paced, and we recognise that the transition from training to live calls can feel overwhelming, particularly when balancing call handling times with finding the right information. Your feedback around clearer expectations on hours and enhanced support for new starters is valuable, and these are areas we continuously review to ensure colleagues feel set up for success. Thank you again for sharing your experience and your advice. Feedback like this helps us identify where we can continue to improve the colleague experience.
