Pros

Great pay, benefits, environment and you get to work for a well-known well respected company. Huge opportunities to grow!

Cons

Nothing really. There are many people concerned about the recent layoffs and TI's track record of hiring and then laying off, but if you do your job and do it good (go above and beyond) you should have nothing to worry about.

Pros

Plenty of opportunities to grow regardless of your job function. You need to be self-motivated and seek learning opportunites. TI is a big company so there are many jobs available if you want a change.

Cons

Some organizations in TI seems to care more about talent development than others. It is obvious that the organization that is not growing (generating lots of cash) can not afford to train or development an employee if he/she desires a career change.
