Pros

It's way better than just working at McDonalds. You have opportunity to gain experience in data entry, office administration, and inventory management, though it is a retail job.

Cons

The UPS Store is a franchise, so every store is operated differently, and they are all considered small businesses. Some owners will be better than others. Be prepared to do more than just packaging and shipping. Also, don't expect to be full time with benefits.

Easy work, corporate interactions are simple, can have very quiet days depending on your location

Cons

Pay (mediocre hourly), know it all customers, some prices are hard to up-sell versus competitors (FedEx, USPS).

It is a laid back environment during non-holiday seasons and great for college students. The owners are great and I love working here as a college job.

Cons

Not much growth, hours depends on how many people work there. The days can drag on unless you are employed by someone who finds busy work for you. Even that can be lacking sometimes.
