Pros

Good benefits like number of leaves, WFH Setup support.

Cons

Crazy level of office politics in the Bengaluru office, why? because all the Utopus employees suddenly got merged into VESTAS, which doesn't understand the work culture. On top of that, all the VESTAS managers also have a very bad and outdated mentality towards handling any situation. Team Lead/Chapter Leads are just here to make you feel worse every day. Being a Software engineer, seeing all this makes you feel down. This is not a SaaS based company, so all the people have a rigid manufacturing plant kind of mentality to handle work here. Asking for Remote work is like asking your chapter lead their soul. too harsh behaviour from the Chapter Lead and Managers; all are being manipulated by the local Bengaluru office Director, who is forcing everyone into their own modified policy, which changes as they wish. In short, "If you are a very good software engineer, with a good amount of experience, my recommendation is not to join this company or specifically the Bengaluru office location, find a good SaaS based company that actually builds software and might have a better work culture than this"

Pros

Working at Vestas has been a challenging experience, to say the least. While it's a massive company with job security, the cons often overshadow the pros.

Cons

1. Excessive Workload: The workload at Vestas is often overwhelming. Expect long hours and a constant struggle to balance work and personal life. 2. Endless Meetings: If you value your time, be prepared to have it consumed by endless meetings. The number of meetings here is mind-boggling and severely impacts productivity. 3. Intricate Approval Processes: Salesforce usage at Vestas is strangled by countless approval processes and the need for alignment with numerous project teams. This complexity stifles creativity and agility, making it frustrating to get anything done. 4. Poor Management: The management and leadership at Vestas leave much to be desired. Communication is lacking, decisions seem arbitrary, and there is a noticeable absence of clear direction or support for employees. 5. Lack of training and onboarding/introductory orientation: Without any training or onboarding/initial orientation, from day one, you're left to navigate on your own and prove your value. It feels like all eyes are on you, especially your manager, who provides little guidance and only offers negative feedback based on judgment.

Pros

a lot of growth forecaster in the next 10 years

Cons

The culture is very bad. Employees are just numbers. The APAC leadership is very vocal about how expensive Australian labour is and want to run everything from India and subcontract technicians jobs to reduce costs. The only career progression opportunities are only oferef if you are willing to move to India or Manila, if you aren't mobile they don't invest in your development
