Vestas is a fantastic company in that there benefits and training are some of the best I've ever seen. 4 weeks vacation right off the bat, and the opportunity to take all manner of training courses if you're interested.

Cons

Because Global Headquarters are in Denmark, some of the decision making is out of the hands of the U.S. based leadership team.

It's a very exciting industry and Vestas is a leader in technology in the field. Good prospects for long-term employment.

Cons

Management focus is on cost-reduction, cost-reduction, cost-reduction to reach a goal of 15% EBITDA by 2015. This means very tight budgets and a drive to send as much work offshore as possible, which results in serious overloading of key personnel in the core organization.
