Pros

Seeing the company car leave my street when I quit. Met some good folk during training.

Cons

Lied to during the interview process about career progression and targets. Pathetic salary with poor commission and unrealistic targets. Useless and uncaring office staff who are just there to fill a seat. For some reason they think that a bog standard Astra is a benefit. You should maybe look at other companies benefits before boasting. Wurth seems to accept that they are a revolving door of a company, so much so that they have a dedicated member of staff to complete exit interviews. If you are thinking about applying, don't bother, it will be a part of your life you will never get back.

Pros

Car with fuel, training to move on to better things. No weekends or bank holidays. Other than that there aren't any.

Cons

Unrealistic targets with current pricing structure and company reputation, management completely out of touch with current market and seem to micro manage every little thing, you are told at interview that you will be left alone with support if needed, if this means 8/10 emails a day, numerous text messages and a couple of phone calls from line manager! Targets grow even more year on year despite the company not growing. Very low basic pay, low commission and yet still expected to work miracles. Brexit is going to kill this business model in the future. Stay away from them unless you really have no other choice!

Pros

Huge, globally recognized company. Generous, performance-based pay package, company vehicle, computer, cell phone, etc. Freedom to work as if it was your own business, within parameters.

Cons

Huge, globally recognized company - minimal market penetration in Canada. Leadership, especially in Eastern Canada, has eroded in recent years - far too much micro-managing, by far too many people. Corporate training teaches us NOT to "manage by fear", but this is the current trend, sadly, and it seems to be becoming more prevalent. It seems that certain people only want sheep, and "yes men", instead of independent thinkers - cross one of these people, and your career path is certain to take an abrupt change of direction.
