      No good reason to work for this company other than the fact that they are hiring a bit now.

      Cons

      Offshore tries to dominate over onsite based resources. As a result, onsite resources end up looking helpless in front of clients. The work hours are extremely long, late night calls and early morning calls almost on a daily basis. Offshore teams regularly call onsite teams at unearthly hours. Very thin support teams at onsite. Wipro onsite has more than 3000 employees. They are supported by a HR team that has less than 5 employees in the US; expense claims department with 1 employee; Payroll and W4 procesing team with 1 employee in the US. They are overloaded, prone to making mistakes and unresponsive to employee grievances.

      Onsite opportunities are always good.

      Cons

      No onsite hike for two years No promotion for 4+ years. Promotion based test checks for competancy to learn by heart. Client respects the employees more than the company does. From HR to ticketing inquiry every thing is on email. Poor communication and unstable software. Introduces non productivity.

      nice team i had there, the managers triedd to do what they could to retain talent. the initial training of 3 months was good.

      Cons

      salary hikes should be sufficient enough, and should try to retain good people. I think that they should have better infrastructures in old campuses too.
