      Good place to start and learn a lot!

      Pros

      The company has a very young mentally, you have lots of space for projects, new ideas. You meet lots of people in the industry and that strengthens a lot your CV and network. I consider it basically an intensive course. You learn a lot with your managers and colleagues who all come from different backgrounds and cultures and get pushed a lot to develop.

      Cons

      The level of stress and pressure is not sustainable on the long run in my opinion. You need to perform constantly and deal with so much workload, and side projects, and company video streamings for enablement etc etc etc... It's all too much and after 5 years there my mental health suffered. They don't pay enough bonuses (it's only exceptional cases) even though most people work very hard . They don't pay extra hours and market the "flexible working hours" as a positive chance for you to shape your routine but in reality the company is the only one truly benefiting from it - You then have to work much much more hours to manage all your workload and don't get extra-hour pay or have a compensatory time off program.

      Zalando Lounge DISASTER

      Pros

      You can work and live in Berlin meanwhile you are looking for another job. Basic jobs with fast learning.

      Cons

      Incompetent team leaders stressing their employees and very easily manipulative instead of working professionally Very bad environment with co-workers due to frustration in the teams. Most of the people are being forced to leave. Cases of bullying that hide because it often come from higher levels and it is easier to fire a new person in the team than people with unlimited contracts. Culture of fear, comparison and competition in which achievements are not valued equally and promote favoritism.
