Low pay, flexible hours, no possibility to grow, weak senior management

Pros

- Very flexible working hours, nobody checks whether you logged in to work or not so no strict start or end time for your workday - You can work remotely 100% - They give you Apple products - Diversity culture, people from different countries

Cons

- Impossible to grow unless you are a senior manager, team lead, or head of. Junior and mid-level managers are not treated and paid fairly. - Very agile and messy in terms of project management. Even though it is a corporate company, small changes in the market impact the project budgets drastically. - Communication between the higher management level and employees does not exist. The only contact is the team lead. They do not include employees except head of/team leads and executive board even in small matters. - They have a Feedback 360 program where you are expected to give feedback about your boss and peers however it is not anonymous your team lead can see the feedback/comments that are given to them by the employees therefore nobody voices any concern or problem about their team leads and they just leave the company. - HR is pretty non existing in terms of having a dispute/conflict in a team or with a team lead. You are left to your team lead's mercy. - Only way to get a promotion as a senior manager is to become a team lead this is why people without leadership skills are being promoted to TL positions.

As with other concerns, business partners or the people department should always act as contacts if there is ƒa need for discussion. However, if for various reasons you do not feel comfortable addressing your problem to the people department or business partners, there are also other instances or persons to whom you can turn, e.g. our works council or persons of trust. The experiences you describe are not in line with what we expect from our managers and what we want to offer our employees in terms of further development. Leaders at idealo should act as role models and drivers of our idealo culture. Therefore, we support them in the best possible way and provide them with ongoing training. We also have various offers for first-time leaders so that they can learn even more and receive appropriate support. Business Outlook

Pros

- Beautiful office - Good coffee - Some nice people - Benefits (up to 45 holidays, flex-time, remote work, electronic gadgets etc.)

Cons

- Agile methodologies implemented completely wrong - After onboarding, no support from HR - Cold atmosphere between colleagues (Not saying hello, if you do some people would ignore you) - Product owners abandon their own projects until its too late - People not being themselves, not being able to say what they think & want
