Pros

Really good family benefits and discounts. Working for the company does feel like you're making a positive impact on the world, not just working to make a profit. 25% of all profits go to LEGO Foundation which is a charity but lots more cash is donated. I have a great work/life balance. Bonus had been really good for the past few years. Free LEGOLAND passes, mostly a 1 team culture where people want to help each other.

Cons

Hybrid working, you must be in the office 3 days per week and the CPO released a video basically threatening that people must comply. Pension is very basic - it's like the company don't care what happens to you when you get too old to work. Christmas/summer parties should be a positive but they're so badly organized due to the size of the company that you just spend the whole time queuing for things.

Pros

Great Brand, nice colleagues, fun atmosphere, ITS TOYS

Cons

Very lean company with low base salary for the work expectation. Bonuses are good, but are not guaranteed. If your salary, be prepared to work long hours with poor work-life balance. If you try to complain, you will be added to the "no advance LEGO list" Politics drive the company, if your not in the "good old boys circle" don't expect to advance into Sr.Roles. LEGO is a male driven company, senior leadership is made up of only white males. Very poor diversification, again " white male dominated company" They select only hand picked white women to advance, just to try to show they are improving on gender equality. No loyalty to employees. They don't mind letting people go who have dedicated many years to the company only to bring in a young college student.

Pros

Good canteen. Free time activities on the Campus office. Good Name on the CV. Some lovely people.

Cons

Build purely for extroverts, not inclusive culture for the other 50%. They are constantly exhausting introverts. Bad work-life balance; backwards “best of both policy”, forcing people 3 days into the office, still no trial of 4 day working week, much overtime, many people in need of stress leave. The company and PO&D (=HR) are doing nothing against toxic leaders and the toxic culture they create (even when PO&D knows). Rather keep getting rid of people and replacing over and over again, than remove the leaders that should not be tolerated. Creates fear and anxiety. Extreme top-down management, smallest decisions are taken at high level, no empowerment. Almost impossible to make a career if you join as a “specialist”. Bad internal growth plans, if at all.
