Pros

Smart, generally very nice people to work with, and a good benefits package overall. Room for advancement for some. Benefits are good for master's degree candidates, less so for the rest, but within the median.

Cons

Increasing stress due to "failure to communicate". Too big and like a room full of jealous siblings. Most recent merger feels more like a "we don't need you honey" stare down than a beneficial improvement. Company has major management issues, i.e. "too many chief's and not enough Indians". Poor communication and frequent unexplained changes in management, as well as a late response to recent project void, creating financial difficulties that have made everyone nervous and required layoffs that should have been done more than 12 months ago. New Matrix system of management is anything but transparent. Communications are difficult between offices and countries depending where the IT control and the quality of the software and hardware are on the overall importance levels. Security is confusing and confused, with people getting locked out of their information channels because someone in Germany decides they don't have a need to know. Working out problems through correct channels is hindered by matrix system. If you're German you'll go higher and farther than a local, or at least it seems that way, looking at management personnel.

Pros

One of the best opportunity for a graduate Mechanical Engineer to have a hand on experience in Piping Engineering. Rigorous training and cooperative HR team.

Cons

There is hardly any scope left to work as piping engineer. Do not start your carrier in Piping as the market level in Oil Sectors is getting worse and it will remain down for forthcoming years till 2022.
