I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at ALDI (Birmingham, England) in Sep 2016
Interview
All very impersonal to be honest. Filled in very long online assessment, then was invited to video interview. You only get between 30 and 60 seconds to give your answer, and can't re record.
I was successful, and was then invited to a phone interview. Again, very impersonal and rushed. 20 minutes to answer about 6 questions, so nowhere near long enough to give an answer that describes your skills and abilities. They clearly have a prescribed format that they want you to use, but don't advise what that is - he interrupted me on a few occasions. I like to give a full answer to questions, giving examples and the impacts of my style / decisions etc, but wasn't given the opportunity

Question 1
What is the most physical job you ever experiences before?
You walk the store and back room and I would give a run down of the day to day operations. Then take then to the break room and ask some questions. And then pass my notes to my DM.
