I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at AT&T (Austin, TX) in May 2011
Interview
The online assessment takes some time. It is lengthy but easy. The phone interview was short, about 12 minutes. Not very in depth, mainly dealing with how a person handles sales and customer service situations, none of which are very difficult. The interviewer did not appear to be ideally suited to conducrt the interview, as they did not appear to know basic concepts of sales and customer service. Most of the time was spent in repeating concepts or explaining them.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Having interviewed extensively over the phone and in person. There were not any difficult or unexpected questions.
I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at AT&T in Sep 2009
Interview
The interview involved questions on what I was working on. It was more of a technical interview and had questions on my willingness to work on new technologies. There was an initial phone interview followed by an on-site interview. The background verification took a month but otherwise the process was very smooth.
