after applying on att website received an email to take an online test then call some department. then recieved a call from hiring manager to setup interview. after interview took skills test at locations then i was told i was hired and when i would start.

The interview was arranged by a staffing agency. The interview comprised of a written test for 75 minutes and a group interview. The test had multiple choice questions mainly in C and Perl. I had to write a logical programs too. And some analytical questions. Then I went on to meet a group of two people who asked me about my past experience. Then to another group of two people who asked me some detailed questions related to my technical experience and finally met the Hiring manager who told that the interviewers were impressed with my answer. 2 days later I got a call saying that I was selected. There was no negotiation in salary because I went through agency.

Applied online through the AT&T website which consisted of a 100 question personality test. I was contacted a week later and told to come in for an interview. The interview lasted about 1 hr with the store manager and I was told to wait for a phone call telling me what to do next. I was then told to go for a drug test, and after passing the drug and background test I was offered an hourly salary and took it.
