I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Docusign (Seattle, WA) in Jan 2019
Interview
Quick phone screen with recruiter. Then longer phone screen with hiring manager. Then in person interviews with 4 team members. They moved through this entire process very quickly. I felt like my in person interviews went very well, but then I didn't hear back for 2 weeks! It took me following up for another time to get some sort of response. Then the feedback for me took 3 minutes and that was it. Since I wasn't given the chance to ask questions or provide my feedback, I spoke up before the recruiter hung up. Aside from the long delay in hearing from Docusign, the feedback I received was rather surprising based on the actual interviews and feedback I received in person from each individual. I also need to point out that one of the interviewers asked multiple awkward, borderline inappropriate questions that simply made me uncomfortable. Overall, not a great experience unfortunately.

Question 1
Rate your current manager from a 1 to 10 - and describe how your manager could improve.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Docusign in Dec 2018
Interview
Standard, initially. Sourced via an internal recruiter who then handed me over to a more senior recruiter.
1. Standard screening w/ the senior recruiter.
2. Phone interview with hiring manager - hiring manager was very nice, but seemed over her head or had not yet gone through Interview Training. Interview was very static, like standard questions read from a list. Talked minimally about the role, company and other expected areas.
3. Bounced ahead, but next interview was with the same person, only a video conference this time - which was fine, expected. Gound Hog Day expereince as the exact same questions were asked...and it became clear the "list" of questions were more for a entry-level position or possibly early-mid career oriented, and when questions were asked, they seemed to negatively impact the process...like it was scripted?
Was very surprised given the positive reviews and general good press DocuSign seemed to have and that they were looking for a more experienced, senior resource?

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Docusign (London, England) in Nov 2018
Interview
I had a final onsite interview & presentation and after 8 weeks have still heard nothing back from Docusign.
I followed up three times with the main contact I'd been in touch with and have had no response two months later. I can only assume someone else was hired and Docusign think it is acceptable business practice after an onsite interview to not let other candidates know what decision has been made either way. Very disappointing experience all round having to chase them for an update and interview feedback and having those requests ignored. Somewhat ironic for a company whose own product is focussed on speeding up the processing of agreements..
Thank you for this feedback. This is very disappointing and does not meet our standards for respecting candidates time and effort that you put into interviewing with us. We'd like to hear more. Ifyou are open to it. please reach out to Nic Jagoe at Nic.Jagoe@docusign.com.
