Question 1
What are your hobbies and why are you interested in this position.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Gopuff (Chicago, IL) in Jul 2021
Interview
I cannot begin to describe how poorly the interview process with GoPuff went, from the first interview to the last (four total). Based on research and general understanding of GoPuff, I went from excited and eager to learn more about this company, to losing interest after each and every interview. Normally interviews provide excitement, clarity, and an overview of your future - nope, GoPuff will show you, without intention, all their red flags.
My concerns with the interviews are highlighted below. Keep in mind, this is for a Regional Manager position which should be met with professionalism.
I experienced poor communication and follow-up, through-and-through. Generally, my interviewer arrived 5-25 minutes late to each interview with little concern for my time. Questions were often so broad and unspecific that I would ask for clarity in the question, in which their response was "I don't know what that question means, either." Glad I'm being asked poorly worded questions without the interviewer understanding what they're asking.
I could sense there was a lot of uncertainty with the direction of the company, and that was made more clear with each interview. I get the company is in hyper-growth, but with hyper-growth should come "hyper" planning. They're a mess, that's all I will say.
The troubling part for me, was listening to the interviewer(s) continuously trashing other departments in the company, often calling them inappropriate names that Glassdoor does not allow me to post on their website. After my fourth interview, I was given the thumbs up and a "I look forward to working with you in the future." That was literally my last communication with anyone from GoPuff. I was completely ghosted on any and all future e-mails, even with the individuals whose sole purpose is hiring. That's when I went on Glassdoor and saw this was common practice with this company. I went from hesitant on moving forward to relieved I didn't move on.
My advice, stay WELL clear of GoPuff until they get their act together, which I highly doubt will ever happen. Their entire interview process was beyond unprofessional and a complete and utter waste of my time. At least have the decency to follow-up with a candidate, regardless of their hiring status. Be professional if you want to be respected as a company.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Gopuff (Luxembourg) in Jul 2021
Interview
Applied online and then was sent a link for an online test. Didn’t receive a response after I completed the test so I chased HR. Had HR interview - seem to be a good vibe as a cool but smart company to work for. Unfortunately, I think they’re only interested in hiring people who are from Amazon.
