I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at HubSpot in Jun 2015
Interview
Was contacted by HR shortly after applying through an employee referral. Was sent to a website to do an interactive video interview. I was given a question, 30 seconds to think of an answer, and was then recorded for 90-120 seconds while I gave my answer.
I was never contacted after my interview. I was shocked at the unprofessionalism of not recieveing a response, especially since HubSpot prides themselves on excellent customer and employee service.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at HubSpot (Cambridge, MA) in Apr 2015
Interview
Spoke with a recruiter during the initial phone-screen - be prepared to talk about your experiences and the company. Was later invited for an in-person interview where I met with two more people. The interview was similar to the phone-screen. After those two meetings, I was sent to debrief with someone from HR.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at HubSpot (Cambridge, MA) in Jun 2015
Interview
This was an extensive interview process and was very time consuming. I live in California and so this is what interview consisted of for me:
1. Video Interview
verbally responding to questions while being recorded (no one on other side of screen)
2. Interview with recruiter
via phone
3. Interview with managers
via phone
4. Presentation
Use Hubspot Platform to create a website and present it via Web-ex
5. In person interview Cambridge (company does not pay to fly you out to interview)
interviewed with 5 employees (some of whom I had already interviewed with via phone)
6. In person interview in Portsmouth (I had the option to do this one over google hangout on the same day as the cambridge interview)
met with the director of this office
Very sad I didn't get the job! :/ I hope this helps other interviewees.
