I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at HubSpot (Dublin, Dublin) in Mar 2017
Interview
I applied online and a couple of days later I received an email from a recruiter to schedule a phone screen interview. Interview lasted about 30 min and questions asked were what you would expect from a CV screening. I then received an email saying that they're not moving forward with my application which is fine. However when I asked more feedback about my application's rejection the recruiter said that my preference was to become a customer success manager. I never said that, all I said when I was asked about career plan was that after I gain experience in renewals manager role, I might consider moving into a account manager role if opportunities arise. Lost in translation...

I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at HubSpot (Cambridge, MA) in Aug 2016
Interview
I went to a "meet and greet" event at a bar with HubSpot employees and potential candidates. I then reached out to one of the recruiters I met there and she scheduled a phone interview for a sales position. After we spoke she suggested me for the Renewal Manager position. I then spoke to a different recruiter about this position and he moved me to an interview with my potential manager.
I had a 30 minute phone interview with my potential manager 2 days later who then moved me forward to an in person interview. The in person interview was 4, 30 minute interviews. The questions were somewhat difficult but expected for a company like HubSpot. I was then offered the position later that day!

This review made my day - I'm thrilled that you initially got to know us through one of our events, but am even more so that our recruiting team directed you to a role that best aligned with your skills, even if that wasn't the direction you were initially considering. Glad you had such a positive, but challenging interview process, and we're so happy you decided to join us! -Becky
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at HubSpot (Cambridge, MA) in Apr 2016
Interview
was referred by a friend who works at HUbspot, was contacted by the recruiter for a phone interview, then another phone interview with the hiring manager. got selected for an in-person interview with hiring manager, team lead and director. Questions varied some related to positions, others about skills and mainly to check if the candidate is a good fit for their culture,
thought i did well but didn't get an offer they extended to someone with more experience as they said.
