Standard PE interview, 3-4 rounds with technicals. Be prepared to have 2-3 interviews at the same time. Overall they were polite but won't hesitate to dig deeper.

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Jefferies (New York, NY)
Interview
3 rounds. Phone screen, in-person with case study, final meetings with senior folks. All conversations are a mix of behavioral and technical questions, with an emphasis on deal experience and ability to hit the ground running.
First round was a cocktail party with the team. Then had a phone screen with an analyst the next day. Final round was an in person 45 minute behavioural/technical interview with two analysts, and then a case study presented to a panel with a few directors. Everyone was friendly and there was a pretty fast turnaround time.

Question 1
What's an M&A deal you've been following? How would you value that company? What is the current market like for M&A and ECM? Plus the normal behavioural questions (why Jefferies etc)
