I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at NHS (Leeds, England) in Nov 2016
Interview
I arrive and get taken to a room where two interview panels are waiting a co-coordinator and a senior manager.I have been to be a few interviews for similar roles at the NHS and always find you have one member of the panel that tries to makes you feel comfortable and easy and makes an effort to make the interview process pleasant and the other panel member has a face on and shows no effort, no response to any answers you give to her questions,a little smile goes along way especially if you are a shy person and get nervous at interviews.Usually last 20 minutes.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at NHS (Blackburn, England) in Aug 2015
Interview
General personal questions about the job, followed by my suitability for the role. Then why I was interested in the job itself.
Work situation scenarios were explained to me and then I was asked more questions about this. How I would deal with these problems or situations.
Ended by the opportunity to ask any questions of my own.
I applied through college or university. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at NHS in May 2016
Interview
Process through university, then 'meet and greet' with team (but really it's a review process), then panel interview, interview with consultant, interview with a second consultant. The process is long, but enjoyable. Some of the questions asked came up during the different stages. Also questions asked on medical knowledge, a lot of it was basic stuff from first year and second year at university so it's a good idea to brush up on that. Ethical questions too.
