It was fast. It had multiple rounds, main office then bank. Old bank system not the best for clients or employees. I do not recommend banking here. The vibe was very pushy for credit card sales.
Very straight forward question regarding customer service. Manager is very friendly. The whole process is apply online-HR phone screening-On site interview with manager. Around 2 weeks, however, the pay is a little bit low.
I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at TD in Sep 2020
Interview
As an applicant for a bank teller position, the interview process typically began with submitting an online application and resume, followed by a phone screening with a recruiter. During this initial conversation, I was asked about my previous experience, availability, and interest in the role. After passing the phone screening, I was invited to an in-person interview at the bank branch, where I met with the hiring manager. This interview involved behavioral questions to assess my customer service skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle financial transactions accurately. I was also asked situational questions to demonstrate how I would manage challenging scenarios, like dealing with an irate customer or detecting fraudulent activity. Sometimes, I participated in a role-playing exercise to showcase my interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities. Finally, when the interview went well, I underwent a background check and was asked to complete an assessment test to evaluate my numerical aptitude and understanding of basic banking procedures
