After you apply, a recruiter typically contacts you of interest to schedule an initial conversation. This may be a phone or video call focused on your background, interest in the role, and basic fit. If you clear the recruiter screen, the next step is usually an interview with the hiring manager or someone from the Team you’d be joining. This tends to go deeper into your experience, especially as it relates to AML/sanctions screening, investigation work, and attention to detail.
