Walmart Sales Associate interview questions

Just your basic average interview where the human resource person feels you out. They looked for experience, attitude, and ambition. My overall perception of the people that I dealt with was that of a professional group that knew exactally what they wanted out of the job candidate. Was a relaxed atmosphere for the interview.

This was an interview for a new store. I applied online through walmart career page and interviewed at a hiring center in a local mall. The questions were all situational. Describe a time that you did x, why, and what was the outcome. The interviewer was friendly and didn't really like having to ask these kind of questions. Usually there would have been a second round of interviews, when she printed out the questions she stated that all the questions were basically the same as the ones she already asked. This is the second time I have interviewed for a new store and I have the impression as long as you attempt to answer the questions you will be hired. They will be calling my references and then I should be called for a job offer and drug test. Walmart does actually call your references so make sure they are up-to-date.
