Applied online. And after a few weeks, I completed an online coding assessment. After another few weeks, I was contacted by recruiter for a one-to-one online coding interview with one of the current software engineers. One online interview that was OOP. Interviews were really friendly and seemed like a fun place to work.
Due to covid, internship was cancelled but they communicated this very late (they kept ghosting us since late feb) and i had already turned down many other offers that didn't end up cancelling their internships. In addition to the layoffs from earlier in the year, and from this event, they seem to not care about their employees at all. In fact, after firing so many company members and cancelling the internships, they stocks have grown from $25-170.
- Online coding assessment: easy-medium questions
- Video interview: Questions based on HashMaps in Java and asked about previous experience. If you know how to use HashMap, you're good to go
- After everything went well, they asked to schedule the final interview onsite.
- After I sent them my availability schedule, they ghosted me for 1.5 months (I followed up every week) and said the position is full and we can't move forward. Worst experience ever
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Wayfair in Jan 2020
Interview
I finished OA in September, got feedback in January with a video interview. Three days later, I got an invitation for an onsite interview. It was a nice experience. The challenges were straightforward, and mainly about OOP
