Pros

Good work-life balance, good location in terms of weather, nice people to work with in general.

Cons

Senior people are not motivated to work. They complain about lack of opportunity but they don't want to relocate. They just hang around and wait for retirement. Some incompetent line managers sit in their office everyday and do nothing. All they care about is getting paycheck.

Pros

There is lots of scope for some good research work in Industrial Automation at ABB. Co-location with development center means, researchers will have easy access to domain experts.

Cons

Mandated 9hr/day average working time, weekly time-sheets, lack of a "research friendly" culture are some cons.
