Pros

The people were great. Loved my coworkers and my managers. Benefits were good as well. The WFN application had a lot of moving parts and offered a lot of tools to the clients which I liked, however a lot of bugs to work out each time a new version rolled out.

Cons

Layoffs were the biggest issue. I as well as many, and I mean MANY experienced individuals are gone either due to layoffs or the early retirement package. Before I left I could already see the impact this was having on the clients as well as my fellow coworkers. No one was happy. On top of that, there has been outsourcing of jobs overseas which are causing U.S jobs to disappear. ADP was a great company to work for but over the years the company became more profit driven than people driven and management cared less and less about the people responsible for making those profits in the first place.

Pros

Excellent medical and dental plans Great platform for submitting ideas and suggestions for improvements I also really liked their program for searching procesdures and guidelines, it wasn’t as great at Google but after awhile you can easily learn what wording to use to find your answers I loved that they had a phone line and Skype option for tech support whenever you had questions about a procedure I liked That you could earn points that you could then use to purchase all sorts of stuff on their ADP website!

Cons

Having to submit your request for days off a year I advance made it very difficult to plan for trips, vacations, weddings or other personal events. There wasn’t a very good work/life balance as you also had to submit your request for unscheduled time off at least 2 weeks I’m advance or they would count it as an occcerence and it would go against you. I spent a lot of time dealing with escalated clients because of errors the company and or other employees made, especially the ones from the Philippines. It made it for very stressful days. When asking for a salary increase, management makes it seem like it’s coming out of their own pocket because it’s like pulling teeth. I deserved a salary increase and asked for one 3 times and each time I was told they were about to change the structure of the promotion process so I had to wait. 12 months later they still hadn’t changed anything. They don’t pay you extra for being bilingual but you have twice the work and twice the stress. Integrity is part of the mission statement but apparently it didn’t apply to the sales department because they we would get multiple, constant complaints from clients about the sales reps shady practices.
