Flexible Schedules Very friendly work atmosphere Management is easy to work with Decent benefits

Cons

Pay is average and increases are small (although annual) Need to test the products before rolling them out. Silos separate departments (Sales, Payroll, HR etc)

Pros

The firm is very stable, the payroll business essentially underwrites everything else. So job security in most areas is very solid. They encourage people to work virtually, and offer flexibility.

Cons

Often the virtual work environment can be very isolating. The staff who are based in an office obtain a lot more facetime with management, and this can be very beneficial to them, at the expense of virtual staff.

Pros

Excellent benefits! Remote positions available. Solid core training available for technical or functionnal positions. Many divisions to work in - hence mobility.

Cons

Cronyism is rampant. Diversity appears only in lower level positions. They get rid of long-time, good employees by creating bogus performance issues leading to either termination or resignation - not a good place for "over 40" workers. Poor management. No"real" employee development. Lots of talk about diversity and employee development - but not "practising" this.
