Pros

ADP provided very detailed training as I entered the organization. The people were great to work with. I had one fromal and several informal mentors throughout my career with ADP. I had an opportunity to work with many different clients in a variety of industries. ADP provided many opportunities for training and had a greta tutition reimbursement program. There were many career paths to choose from within ADP's client services organization.

Cons

My last position with ADP required approximately 80% travel which made it difficult to maintain a balance between work and family. I feel that ADP pays below market for implementation consultants.

Pros

Pretty decent medical/dental benefits. Most other departments and coworkers are a great bunch of people- very helpful and knowledgable.

Cons

Old school ways of thinking especiallypertaining to telecommuting. Work/family life balance is terrible in my department, but is pretty decent elsewhere in the organization or they are trying to be. Salary/compensation is not the best and incentives for bonus structures in my department are unattainable and just a very cheap company- .

Pros

ADP is a stable employer and during my 8 years with them there have been no lay offs. I also have been amazed at the investment they have in employee training. I have never worked anywhere that has provided as much training as they do.

Cons

ADP expects long hours from their employees and is terrible for pay raises. The running joke is you have to quit and return to ADP if you want to be compensated like a new employee with no experience.
