Pros

AT&T offers great benefits and pay. They also offer the ability to make decisions and implement what needs to be implemented in order to succeed without the micromanagement.

Cons

Definately will be a lot of training required through out the year which can effective staffing.

Pros

smart people, interesting tasks, large effect via our large sales force. huge effect on local search. We have great opportunities and are able to effect some change and build some cool software

Cons

There are a lot of politics back to corporate AT&T and there is limited upside, as this is not a startup. We're not "cool" and there is a lack of talent we can get because of that (people are good, but we get turned-down).

Pros

I started my career in ATT right after my school. Work experience gained from ATT is good, lot of trainings, mentorings are provided. You get opportunities to improve communication skills, presentation skills, team building skills, technical skills, leadership skills, etc. It is upto the candidate how well they can use it. Work Life balance is perfectly achieved.

Cons

Some might think compensation is less in ATT than outside. Its true, but work pressure is not the same as outside.
