Bizarre management that doesn't communicate with staff

Head Office Management communication is dreadful. Allows staff bullying by another manager. Horrible lack of communication on tasks to be completed and then goes nuclear when task is not completed in exactly they way they expected it to be done. Allowed foreign (English) employees to be bullied, piled pressure on after saying German language wasn't necessary by having all meetings only in German and not giving any explanation or translation. Then expecting non German speaking employees to follow directives made in those meetings without communicating those directives to them. Not much relocation support offered and no employee development.

The people that work there are actually passionate about Music and Artists. Good resources for E Learning.

While the company emphasizes transparency, there seems to be a disconnect in communication with the recent changes in management. The transition under new leadership, who may be less familiar with the nuances of the music industry, has created a period of turmoil. Unfortunately, the recent layoffs and local office closures were not as extensively communicated as some staff would have preferred. There's a perception among employees that the company may be positioning itself for a potential sale to a major label or publisher, a pattern observed from the past. If considering a job application at this time, it might be prudent to view it as a temporary opportunity. Make the most of your experience and personal growth during your tenure, but also be aware of the current organizational dynamics.
