Pros

Growing quickly for a music industry company. There are generally opportunities to take on new challenges and help drive innovation.

Cons

Matrix/cross-territory reporting structures can create communication challenges.

Pros

During my four years at BMG, I loved working with the coworkers. A lot of skilled, passionate workers. I learned an abundance of how the music business works because the departments sit in close proximity to each other. They have open door policies. I was able to create my own path in my department. (not every department does this)

Cons

Benefits were okay but could be better. BMG employees were always told certain things would happen and they never happened. Pay was lower than other competing companies. Raises rarely happened unfortunately. A lot of promotions of same people. Upper management needs help communicating from Berlin down through out other territories. A LOT of turn around. They've lost some of the best workers. It slows the companies growth and profits.
