At LEONI, we strive for offering every employee a motivating, supportive and constructive work environment. To meet different expectations, we differentiate between continuous development in the same position and development towards a higher position. While we are convinced that continuous development in the respective position is relevant for each of our employees (fostering lifelong learning to ensure employability), we focus on promoting identified potential candidates when it comes to development towards a higher position. We are aware that - depending on the business area, country, type of employment and the size of the division - development opportunities towards a higher position on the career ladder are naturally limited.
We understand that it is essential to ensure that all employees see a clear pathway to progression. That is why we are currently enhancing (besides our efforts on the Leadership and Project Management career path) our professional development programs to offer more training, mentorship, and advancement opportunities, especially for our technical experts at LEONI. Our career development activities include also opportunities for expatriation, international assignments, and long-term transfers across various levels.
Our policy regarding “promoting from within” also clearly reflects our commitment to nurture our team's talents and rewarding hard work. That’s why we are proud to be honored with several CSR awards from different governments worldwide, reflecting our commitment to our employees' development.
