Pros

looks good on a resume.

Cons

this company is I a downward spiral. They acquire companies to pad the pockets of the high levels. Our CEO made 10 million last year, meanwhile they slashed employee benefits. "Corporate greed" and " too big for its britches define this company.

Thank you for your feedback on LogMeIn. Our strategy includes both inorganic and organic growth and our acquisitions are made thoughtfully after very careful market evaluation and are done in service of our business strategy and expanding market position. I am not sure I understand the reference to padding executive pockets, but would be happy to discuss 1:1 with you. Perhaps I can share some information about the pay for performance practices that are built into our CEO / executive compensation programs, and how pay for performance is governed by our Board. Please reach out to me directly and we can discuss as I think there are some facts you may be missing when making your analysis of our M&A strategy and executive compensation. Regarding the company slashing our benefits, I think you may be referring to the adoption of unlimited time off and how that was rolled out. I am aware that some employees preferred to bank their time off for the future, but we ask our employees to work hard and we want to ensure they take time off to recharge and spend time w friends and family. We have enhanced many benefits around leave offerings and reward (bonus) and recently announced the intent to launch an ESPP program later this year. If there is a specific benefit you feel is missing from our offerings, please reach out to me or our benefits team and we’d be happy to discuss. Thanks Jo Deal HR

An Awful Place to Work

Pros

Good benefits and office perks (e.g. food, drinks, office activities)

Cons

LogMeIn is a rigidly hierarchical organization that suffers from top-down communication and decision-making. Leaders aren't directly accessible because you have to play "telephone tag" to get to them (e.g. talk to your manager, who will talk to their manager, who will talk to their manager, etc.), which results in inefficient and often misinterpreted communication, as well as a lack of development and networking opportunities. Open communication collaboration are touted as values in theory but not in practice. Many managers are put into leadership roles based on tenure rather than actually being skilled at managing, and their teams suffer for it. I have seen a mass exodus of alienated and disgruntled employees post-merger with Citrix/GetGo due to employees feeling trampled on, not listened to, and having an overall lack of development opportunities. Transparency is not practiced, as many people keep projects they're working on "close to their chest". I have found this to be a stressful place to work where people aren't appreciated or recognized for what they do, even when they go above and beyond. My one and only piece of advice is to NOT work here.

Thank you for your comment. It's great that you are enjoying our Total Reward offerings and facilities. In the majority of our global offices, our Senior Leaders, including Bill Wagner do not have offices. They are accessible to our employees who have questions or concerns. We have made tremendous efforts to invest in our People Managers, and if you feel you are not being supported, your HR Business Partner needs to know. You are indeed correct, we have gone through a tremendous amount of change in the company post-merger. It's natural to feel as you are losing part of something you once knew. We also have a growing majority of new employees who know our new LogMeIn. This gives us all a chance to come together and forge an exciting new path together. If you have a preferred method of receiving company information, let us know! We continue to look for new ways to communicate with our employees. Thank you again for your candid feedback. Pros

- There's some dedicated talent at the individual contributor level, especially among Citrix alumni. - Work/life balance remains strong, though it's deteriorating as priorities change and layoffs continue. - Updated office space is nice.

Cons

- Poorly managed layoffs have taken a toll on morale, creating a glaring gap between the company's stated values and its actual culture. - Despite leadership's emphasis on paying "midpoint" (i.e. mediocre) salaries and benefits, both are actually below market rate, especially in the Bay Area. - Recent executive hires do not inspire confidence.

Thank you for your candid review. I want to state that LogMeIn is a cohesion of former GetGo, former LogMeIn, and new employees. We only recognize our combined company. We understand work takes place outside of the traditional 9-5 work hours to meet tight deadlines but that is short term and we provide many opportunities for employees to unplug, so we are glad that you enjoyed the work/life balance while you were here. Our goal is to continue to provide open channels of communication to address employee concerns, changes to our organizational structure, and go-forward strategy. In addition, our Total Rewards department conducts extensive market research to offer best-in-class benefits to meet our employee's needs, and all benefits are evaluated annually. The beauty of LogMeIn is we do not hire the same types of profiles; We believe in hiring the best talent for the role, no matter the previous industry of the candidate. That hiring practice drives our diversity of thought that propels LogMeIn to be a leading Billion dollar SaaS company. We are sorry LogMeIn did not meet your expectations. Best Wishes, Jason
