Based on our brand framework and the resulting purpose, we have spent time over the last months to finetune our vision, purpose and brand proposition, and our leadership team has committed to finalizing this and bringing it to life by the end of the year. We would definitely second this (+1). With regards to the feedback you have raised around needing to better understand our mid- to long-term strategy, and how we approach decision making in the company, this is something our executive leadership team (ELT) has taken onboard and is in the process of addressing. Our ELT has established a forum with our 50 most senior leaders in the organization, with the intention of receiving more input and feedback from a larger group of leaders. This is so that we can provide more transparency and context for important decisions, and work together on the strategic direction of the company. These leaders will also have the responsibility to channel your input and feedback into these conversations. Within this forum, we hope to foster a strong dialogue on our strategic direction. As we’ve navigated through a period of very fast growth in recent years, followed by the challenges brought on this year by the pandemic, we know it has been a difficult time for many. Throughout all of this, N26ers have continued to drive the business forward, and we couldn’t be more proud of the teamwork, sense of ownership, and all the great achievements we’ve seen. We’re grateful to have you on this journey with us, and appreciate you speaking up to share your feedback.

The complete lack of transparency from the company is incredible. They do not tell people anything. So many of my friends and myself are coming up to two years and instead of being renewed for a permanent contract they just fire you. They have absolutely zero regard for people’s mental health and the management exploit it. It’s Disgusting

Hi. Thank you for sharing this feedback with us. We are constantly working to deliver the best internal communications to you, and to improve our communications based on your feedback. We run a range of targeted sessions to communicate about our plans, objectives and key results. These meetings are set up to provide clarity and to allow an open forum for people to provide feedback and ask questions. We also offer a monthly session with both of our founders, where employees are encouraged to ask questions for their most pressing issues. We take our employee’s health and wellbeing extremely seriously. Given the recent situation we have found ourselves in with COVID-19, we have published guidelines on our company intranet on Mental Health and Working from Home During the Coronavirus. We also have a Mental Health Employee Resource Group (ERG), whose mission statement is to advocate for mental health friendly policies in the workplace, and improve the wellbeing of our employees across the globe. Any of our team members are welcome to get involved in these initiatives, and you can reach out via the group’s Slack channel to learn more. If you have any concerns we have not been able to address, and you’d like to keep this conversation going, please get in touch with the Employee Experience Partner assigned to your area.
