Our philosophy on compensation and benefits is driven to provide fair reward for every role at N26. To ensure this, we work closely with salary experts, and the local market here in Berlin, to ensure that we are fully competitive in how we pay our employees.
Communication is key, and everyone at N26 has the opportunity to have their voices heard. This can be done through a one-to-one chat with your manager, sharing constructive feedback and ideas in the quarterly Employee Engagement Survey, a direct chat with a member of our People team, or submitting a question for our founders at the Monday All Hands meeting. You can also contact our external Speak Up hotline, where any concerns raised are handled with full confidentiality in a secure and anonymous way.
Offering our team members opportunities for growth and development is something which is extremely important to us. Our bi-annual promotion cycle, which was introduced last year, is designed to allow our people to take ownership of their development in a structured and transparent way. This approach involves creating a development plan and seeking feedback from your stakeholders. The feedback allows for transparency in how decisions are made, and is intended to help you grow and develop in a way that fits your career path. We have also recently reintroduced our program guidelines for internal job opportunities - another avenue for development within the company. You can check these out on our intranet.
