Pros

Nice office, free lunch, good compensation

Cons

- Leadership culture felt toxic, with little accountability, swinging between micromanagement, gaslighting, and a complete absence of support when it was most needed. - Senior decisions often prioritised theory (sometimes even flawed or mathematically questionable approaches) over practical, valid outcomes thus draining team energy and leading to wasted effort. - The environment lacked accountability and professionalism, with constant pressure to deliver on timelines that were unrealistic from the start. - Employees were treated as disposable resources, expected to work through illness (including while having COVID) and put in excessive hours to cover both UK and US time zones. - When I tried to follow guidance given in a meeting, I was later misrepresented as acting insubordinately, which was demoralising and highlighted the culture of blame-shifting. - HR and senior management were fully aware of widespread dissatisfaction but failed to act, making it clear that employee well-being and retention were not priorities.
