      Weak Leadership team leads to politicized culture

      Pros

      Strong technologies, market leaders in important categories, some opportunities for career growth (more on this in Cons). Pay is at high end of market.

      Cons

      The executive team at RSA is completely inept. I cam from another large tech company where senior executives knew how to run businesses. RSA has no clue, and no interest in making hard decisions. The staff are left rudderless. It is the most political serve-yourself first culture I have ever seen in companies I have worked for or for ones I have consulted on.

      Pros

      Great solutions - good reputation in the industry, great customer base. Supportive team & management from a local perspective. Training and mentoring was a regular part of the routine. Good channel.

      Cons

      The acquisition by EMC was a little challenging. Culture was different. A storage company acquiring a best of breed security company was questionable, however, this opened up the acquisition of other companies for the "Security Division"

      Pros

      The solutions RSA is offering are quite nice to work with even I believe they lack a bit behind as marked leader.

      Cons

      * No real progress on you career, direct manager will say what you want to hear just to keep you happy until you find out that it was just talk. * You can find much better compensation on the market. * Pay raise? What is that? * Your progress is to learn a second or third product for the same compensation.
