Business Outlook
Pros
Good opportunities to move around the company, between locations and even job functions. I always found my interactions with employees to be friendly, there are not a lot of big egos here and there is a good sense of teamwork. If you make the effort, you can develop an excellent network, even including members of the executive team.
Cons
Raytheon reflects the mentality of most of its government customers, often slow to change and bureaucratic. Not the most efficient on the business management and finance side, though I can't speak for engineering. Financial systems here are outdated and there is a lot of manual work that could be automated. Like many corporate finance jobs, the work is cyclical and can become boring.
