Pros

The company is very concerned with giving the best to the analysts and phone support representatives, has great initiatives, environment, etc. They try to listen and keep everything modern.

Cons

Once you move one step ahead of agent you realize that is the limit of the company, any position above supervisor, like managers is given only based on friendship and other personal agreements, they don't care about their leaders, they don't offer them benefits and when you ask they say you should be glad you are not on the phone, that is enough benefit. Senior leaders try to stop the growth of people they are not friends with, even giving fake feedback to the HR analysts when they try to apply for positions, this happened with one quality manager who spoke lies about an agent because they weren't friends and the agent was the best candidate for the position, of course, the friend got the job. It is well known that recruitment management steals the money from referrals and is unwilling to provide a transparent method to present the referrals of friends, most people don't even refer anymore for this reason. It is also well known that people in the administration team, HR, recruitment, finance, upper management win all the important raffles, trips, cars, etc. A raffled car was won by an agent friend of an upper management person who already had made an agreement with the management friend to sell the car to him before the raffle took place. People who have complained about referrals money and raffles in the company have been fired. People who have complained about integrity practices are also fired soon after. Phone agents can lie about leaders just to get them fired and even tell them to their faces: "I will make sure you get fired because you gave me a bad score" and HR people will say: "sorry, but we are always going to be on the side of the agent". I know of teams who have ganged together to provide fake feedback and fire supervisors because they don't like them, and the supervisor is fired. Agents threaten the supervisors with the yearly Service Survey. However, this only happens for supervisors, quality analysts, and other middle leadership members. Anyone above, like operations managers are untouchable. They treat people bad, sleep with their agents, pick the ones they want to have something with to take them on trips to have that opportunity, go to work drunk, have their supervisors do their job for them and they are never touched. Senior leaders only care about the people for the Pulsecheck survey period and everyone makes a joke of it. There is one leader who everyone knows he only picks men as staff because he hates women, another who only picks women or gay men he has the opportunity to have something with because he hates men, another who even gets agents pregnant and takes no responsibility over it because he is married and then the agent is fired. These things, everyone knows. People started quitting in huge amounts last year, especially supervisors because it is not a matter of salary only, it is a matter of integrity, feeling safe, understood.

Pros

Some Russians girls in the office are wearing decent outfits and it is nice to watch them while they pass by your desk. Apart from that, there are no PROS!

Cons

First of all, Telus is a greedy outsourcing company and there are at least 32 different projects. I worked for one of them (related to mobile gaming) and here are the disgusting details about it. - The position itself doesn't require too many skills. That's why most of the people in the office inexperienced, young aged and students who work part-time. And those guys have no idea what they should do or shouldn't do in the office. Do not expect a proper office environment. Most of the weirdos don't even keep clean the toilets or wash their dishes in the kitchen. - The product that you will represent is pay to win, free to play, kids game. So the customer profile is so horrible that they don't even know what e-mail is. You will lose your psychology, patient and what you got before start working there. - Terrible IT setup! Imagine that you want to work but you can not find a computer to work with just because the number of computers is not enough for everyone. During shift changings, there is big chaos in the office and once you finally find a PC it always lags and freezes. You know why? The memory capacity of computers only 4GB! Yes, you read correctly! 10 years old machines are another problem. You open 6 tabs on chrome and it lags or freezes. - Let me tell you something about the promotion system. First of all most of the manager positions occupied by local (bulgarian) people that all of them are low educated incapable egoists! There are some other slavery positions for foreigners that you must be their dog to get promoted! If you are kind of a person who complains about problems or even if you come up with solutions they will hate you and instead of promoting you they will start mobbing operations! They would like to have people who can easily control and keep his/her mouth close and accept everything even if it wouldn't be his/her mistake! - The salary is under average. If you check what other companies pay for a similar position, you will see that salaries aren't enough that you will have to live with someone else just to share living costs. Otherwise, you can not survive with that little money. Despite low salaries, they try to cut your bonus to give you even less money. This is another problem. You will regret and hate what you doing after you realize that your bonuses will be cut 25-50% just because of you late to the job only for 15 MINUTES! - As you know Telus is a Canadian company so real managers are living there. In order to check what's going on in Sofia, they want us to complete kind of a survey named PulseCheck. Listen here now guys; Before the survey released from Canada, they tell us that your name will stay anonymous (IT DOESN'T) so you don't have to worry about votes or comments. And then the same managers say that you must give us high scores otherwise we will lose what we have already got and things will get worse. After the survey completed they detect the employees who vote low scores and they start mobbing on them. One of my friends lost his 3 months target bonus just because of his PulseCheck results. His manager called him and said this through his face: ''As you can see If you vote us with low scores I cut your money just clicking those buttons!. Now get back your seat!'' Overall, even if you would be so desperate, even if you struggle financially please don't waste your time for that company. Although you think that you will save some money, you will spend it on the medicines or alcohol end of the story. Just stay away from them and thank me later. ;)
