ThyssenKrupp: Not Bad... but not good either !!
Pros
1. Field staff are nice people and help each other where possible.most have many years of lift / electrical / mechanical experience. 2. Reasonably good conditions but thyssenkrupp offer nothing more than what you would get at any multi- national corporation. 3. most departmental office admin staff very good and will help you where they can 4. power tools supplied
Cons
A. Managers like to micro manage field staff B. no access to technical data by field service technicians, electricians or fitter-mechanics C. HR useless at resolving management / employee disputes and conflicts, sometimes it's not about the money but about how poorly you are treated D. pay below par compared to other major lift companies. E. engineering department ....... what engineering department ? .....what a joke they are, they couldn't engineer a timber box F. power tools might be supplied are not trade quality, my 5 y.o son had better quality toy power tools G. after you leave, if you need to go back for any reason you are treated like a liar and a thief H. very little opportunity for advancement. I. WHS is over zealous. J. no extra time added to program for over looked or unforeseen problems, field staff told to "make up the time, its your problem" K. very little training for field employees
