reliable payment of salary, private pension plan, company car

Cons

UPS promotes loyalty and dedication in their employees but offer nothing like that towards the employees. They are "transforming" the company, meaning they are dismissing thousands of employees in North America and Europe to move their jobs to low wage countries in Africa, Asia and South America. Lots of dismissed employees had been with UPS for more than 20, 30 or even 40 years. The current CEO and board ridicules the spirit and heritage of Jim Casey.

Great Benefit: Amazing Health Insurance, Life and Accidental Insurance, Short term and Long term disability. Start off with 2 weeks vacation and earn more weeks as the seniority goes by.

Cons

High Demand and Fact Paced Job. Rarely time for lunch break. No Work Life Balance Schedule. Part time hourlies are expected to work full-time in many occasions. Full time salaries are expected to work over-time year round (60-80 hours+).
