      Pros

      Excellent engineers. Excellent product. Rewarding and valuable work in an important sector. Good physical working environment. Good opportunities for adding to and improving technical skills.

      Cons

      Unqualified management, poor advancement opportunities, Danish males hired or promoted over more qualified candidates. Good / hard work is punished rather than being rewarded. I was told when I left that I should take the experience off my resume because if future employers called Vestas HR to confirm that I had worked there, they would do everything in their power to prevent me from gaining future employment at another company. They seem to be making good on that promise. International employees should stay far, far away.

      Learning ...Only learning nothing than that ....

      Cons

      Bureaucratic ,Your job is not secure .You have to plan your financials well ahead .Because you may not know when you will be asked to leave .Most of the role's offered are for short time stint they will offer show all fancy things like travel etc ...Once they have squeezed the juice out of you it is bye bye ...They do not show even mercy ...I was an ex-employee laid off i applied for many openings after being laid and they kept rejecting me because that i know the principles in which the company is functioning .""PLEASE KEEP AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY""WHICH treats employees like use and throw bottles ....

      Pros

      Flat organization. If you value autonomy and want additional scope, it's yours for the taking. A great place to learn and grow, but you (absolutely) must be a self-starter if you want to succeed, especially in the revenue-generating business units (Turbine Sales, Service Sales, or Project Development). Some truly great employees. Morale can fluctuate a lot by department, but the people are amazing!

      Cons

      Danish parent applies rules to regional BUs which often leaves local leadership little control. Comp is below market across all business units. Global Bonus is touted as offsetting lower base pay but is rarely paid out in full, if at all. Stock is only awarded to VP and above. With bonuses rarely getting paid and executive management touting the importance of shareholder value, it doesn't send a great message. Most business units are under cost-cutting measures, if you're a cost not revenue center, good luck getting annual raises that keep up with inflation.
