      Pros

      Some of the people who work here are very dedicated and hardworking. Offices in portland are very modern and clean. Some people who work here do not work very long hours.

      Cons

      I think that there are a lot of negative people and that the overall feeling is very negative here. Every one seems very unhappy and there are lots of secrets and no real idea of whether you will still have a job tomorrow. There is only a few people who are treated nicely and the rest of us get yelled at and just pushed to the sides. This is not a nice place to work for most people.

      They say they care about work/life balance but will turn around and command you to work 6 12 hour shifts. They treat workers like cattle and will not hesitate to fire you. Safety is supposed to come first, or so they say, but then will force you to do insanely unsafe things like crane blades with employees inside. If somebody gets hurt, they don't know what to do. We had an employee cut himself with a box cutter and they removed all box cutters. We then had to cut things with chisels which is even more unsafe.

      Good pay and awesome benefits as long as you can keep them before your fired for some dumb reason

      Cons

      too much nepotism, poor management, they would rather fire you for you that work with you on issue that could be easily corrected. It is a revolving door. People always numerous people constently quitting and people getting fired for the most ridiculous situations. Vestas does not care about the employee. You can be there 1 year or 7 years and if they decide they don't want you any more they will target you and you are gone.
