      Ups and downs. Good place to work

      Pros

      They are truly concerned with the safety of employees. And, for the area, the base pay is very good. They also have one of the best benefit packages around. I believe they offer a good path toward a career if anyone wants to take advantage of that.

      Cons

      Environment is extremely intense right now. They are having growing pains, but I believe once they are stable, it will be a very good place to work. Some people feel they get no input from management and that they are on their own. In some ways this is true, but I have noticed that some people do care and are willing to help.

      Management is not held accountable and communication of corporate information is virtually non existent.

      Pros

      Contracts for the next 3 plus years are secured, and the alternative energy tax credit was passed for the next 5 years. Wages are in line with production wages at other companies, and a good health care package for full time employees.

      Cons

      Vestas started as a warm and fuzzy Danish company and has over time turned into your typical American company where profits are the only driver. Constant turnover as they shift to a temp to hire company for a portion of there work force.
