There was a lot of people that were let go and others that chose to go. There was a major management shuffle and then some identity issues. There are major egos now, politics and the managers play favorites. The turnover is higher than it has ever been. In my department, colleagues are encouraged to sabotage each other and the undercurrent is vicious. The new middle management finds a way every day to communicate why all the way that we conduct business are "wrong" in their view point, from the processes to the equipment used. No efforts are made to change anything and saying anything is support of the company is quietly discouraged which is heartbreaking. HR is silent on the issue.

As ThyssenKrupp just completed a large merger, there are a lot of growing pains in the office. It appears, however, that things are changing for the better, or at least will be over time.
