I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at ALDI (Saint Joseph, MI) in Jan 2016
Interview
Went in for a shift manager position and after the first interview I was asked if I would be okay being hired in as an associate (cashier). I was told that I would get 20 hours a week as a manager and 20 as a cashier. I found out during my second interview that 75% of the time I'd be considered an associate and get associate pay. They also seemed to have a problem with my school schedule. I go to school part time, 2 days a week, and they said that I would have to be available 6 days a week.
Interview questions were not very difficult. A few situational questions and the DM did ask me to explain each of my previous jobs.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at ALDI in Feb 2016

I applied through other source. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at ALDI in Oct 2015
Interview
Initially went in for a job fair to drop off my application. They made sure I was aware of what the job requirement were. It was a streamlined process that went by really quickly. About 2 hours later a district manager called me for an interview the following week. Went really well and made an appointment for a second interview the week after that. Interviewed with another district manager. After I was recommended to visit the training center and meet the store manager the same day. Each person I spoke to stressed several times that I would be contacted within five days. Five days comes along and I never heard anything, it's been over two weeks and nothing and there is no way for me to follow up.
